Musical Conflagration

It must have been the same day as the “Fire In Halifax” photos I featured earlier this week as this image is on the same strip of negatives. This, however, is a musical conflagration courtesy of a brass band in People’s Park, Halifax. By the look of things, the band outnumbered the audience.

  1. A band really only needs one listener, or in this case a solo dancer, to play their best. Once again, Alan, you’ve framed the moment perfectly, especially with the fountain figure doing a turn, too. It’s also a much more effective image on black and white film rather than color.
