OLD LANE INN, HALIFAX (c1970) An old advert for bottled beer painted on the side of an old pub in Old Lane in old Halifax. The pub had already closed when I took this photograph but rose again briefly in the 1980s, only to close again and eventually be demolished. It’s an old, sad story.
