A photograph from a collection of unknown and unloved old photos which I acquired for a few pounds on eBay. It is captioned “Marine Hotel, Barmouth” and probably dates from the 1920s. It was in monochrome: I have taken the liberty of adding a dash of colour to its cheeks.
