There must be a name for the valley that runs down from Blackley to Holywell Green. It’s the valley you see if you breakfast at the Farm Shop cafe at Lindley Moor. It’s the valley you see as you leave the Golden Fleece pub. When I left the latter, earlier today, I was frighteningly sober, but still the greens merged together to form something almost Turner-ish.
